We are currently performing a stack upgrade on SAP ECC 6.0 EHP6 to SP11 and got struck in pre-processing phase MAIN_SHDCRE/SUBMOD_SHDDBCLONE/DBCLONE! because DB is not available :

I have shutdown the sybase server and started sap, then R3trans failed with below error :
***LOG BY0=>[ASE Error SQL1105]Can't allocate space for object 'syslogs' in database 'ECD' because 'logsegment' segment is full/has no free extents. If you ran out of space in syslogs, dump the transaction log. Otherwise, use ALTER DATABASE to increase the size of the segment.
Then after adding some log segments then we were able to establish the connection between SAP and DB. However when we retry in SUM it again fails with the same error !!!!
This happened thrice, clueless why this is happening when I initiate SUM tool. Reduced the R3load, R3trans processes but still the same error.
Any idea what could be the reason behind ??
We have upgraded the kenel and DBSL file is also upgraded to latest version.

Try to use latest database binaries,tp,R3trans versions .If possible go with kernel upgrade & retry .

did DBCLONE jobs started/cancelled in SM37 ?
SUM directory should be accessible from all application server if you have more than one app server and job is getting started there.

If you have corrected the issue at the database side then restart SUM.
Also check whether the DBCLONE* job is running in the primary system.
If the job is under execution then you will need to wait until the job finishes.

I have retried after updating tp, R3load, R3trans, dbsybslib.so, sybcntrl, startdb and stopdb files with the latest version. All the DBCLONE jobs got cancelled and restarted the SUM tool but still the same error

Export does not pickup whr-files generated by ORA PL/SQL splitter for table splitting
Dear Community,
We are doing POC for BI (640 version ) from HP-UX to LINUX on Oracle DB and using MIGMON option manually for SAPINST 640 version and have used latest R3load,R3szchk,R3ldctl for this. Due to size of tables ( PSA and ODS - One PSA table took 15 hours to export with 150 gig) and the fact that R3ta taking long time to split those tables, we considered to use Oracle PL/SQL splittter for top 20 tables for table splitting which does in couple of minutes ( included partition tables ).WHR files generated by this splitter were moved to DATA directory.
Issue : Whr files generated by this PL/SQL splitter are not picked up by Migmon during export and on analysis observed that STR files not generated for these tables and are still part of SAP standard packages (SAPDODS and SAPDFACT) - ( reason might be because of these tables not considered to be part of separate package ). In the same installation and at the same time , used another option splitting tool parameters ( Largest tables in separate packages and number of tables to be extracted -10 ) for which STR files generated , since we have not controlled this ( no input file given for predefined tables to be extracted ) , 5 tables were considered in common for both options for which STR files generated and picked up my R3load. How do we make other whr files ( PL/SQL splitter ) for 15 tables to be picked up by Migmon for which STR files not generated? Do we need to include these top 20 tables split manually by Oracle PL/SQL splitter in separte text file somewhere ?

ERROR While Configuring the SSL Key Pair SAP NW 7.3
I am trying to create new key pair entry to use for SSL. I am getting weird error, after importing certificate response ssl-credential entry goes invalid.
Below are list of step I carried prior getting error.
1) Deleted existing Java key pair from existing view ICM_SSL_<Instance_ID>
2) Generated new pair entry
3) Generated certificate sign request.
4) Sent to SAP CA at SAP Trust Center Service at service.sap.com/tcs.
5) Import certificate request.
And ssl-credential entry turns red , with error"This entry expired"

SCON, waiting queue mail does not work (no message is sent)
Hi all,
I am facing the following problem.
The waiting queue mail in SAP does not work, no message issent
All messages remains in wait mode. I checked send email in the unix he works fine
I Planned the job SAPConnect every 3 minutes, but he is running without stopping.
when I check the level SMICM Memory pipes, all buffers is occuped, but as soon when I stop the job, all bufers in SMICM are released.
Have you any idea
