Hi Chiwo,

 

Check if you have package K-731BHINWEBCUIF.SAR in the download directory. If yes, remove it.
This can be deleted from OS level or moved to some other location.

 

Check if you have SAPK-731BHINWEBCUIF in the ../EPS/in/ directory. If yes, remove it.
How to check -> Tx. SEPS -> GoTo -> Inxox -> Seach with package name
If you find this with status 'C' then select and delete it. Status would change to 'D'.

 

Once above are done, repat the phase.

Hello Gaurav,

 

Thanks for the feedback.

 

I attached 2 XMLs which were generated from MOPZ and also MP. (Please rename it to ZIP and extract the files inside )

 

Still, the WEBCUIF 700 never exists in these XMLs. I have opened a customer message in SAP side and would let you know if I get something new.

Thanks for the sharing Ganesan.

 

However, my system never has WEBCUIF installed as it is even not on 701. It's not possible for me to install it before the upgrade.

Hi Chiwo,

 

R/3 connection would be needed to check. Make sure to open it and provide user details in sap secure area.
I have seem in most cases this occurs due to wrong calculation because of addional packages being available in queue so connection to check the internal tables would be needed.

Is the error still same. Was these present in download or ../EPS/in/ ?

 

It might be that internal tables are filled with attributes. One suggestion would be to,

 

1. Reset the SUM tool.
2. Make sure that download directory have only packages mentioned in stack.xml file. No additional installation/upgrade packages. Additional Kernel related SAR files are okay to have.
3. Empty the ../EPS/in/ Directory. You can move the files to some other location instead of deleting incase you need them for later use.
4. Start the upgrade again from scratch.

Yes, I confirm that the package 731 has the status D and I still have the same error encountered.

 

I will definitely try to reset the upgrade.

 

For your information, I put the Upgrade Export right there, it should not be necessary @ all.

root@zaml06v102:/download/EHP7_Upgrade_Export > cat LABEL.ASC

SAP:::MM::BD51048902_6

Hi Tushar,

 

you will use rdisp/gui_auto_logout parameter , the default value is 0 , you will change it to the time you want to specify for login user session . this changes will required system restart .

 

note Time unit is seconds

so if you want 2 days it mean
2 * 24 * 60 * 60 = 172800

i have a clarification related to SAP Support offering , i would like to know if SAP Support offering covered the customized SAP software (customized objects ) in SAP solutions as part of SAP Enterprise Support package , or, it is  required another paid service ,upgrade our Support package ??

Delete SAP USERS in SU01

Dear Experts,

 

Our Company Business is based on SALES. ECC and CRM is integrated

Normally if any Employee resign we will delete his SAP User Id. But in our CRM System, while modifying old SALES ORDER it says Employee does not exist.

We have to maintain SAP User's who has resigned the organization but this will effect the License cost. Do we have any option with which we can maintain SAP User's ?

 

We need your advise and suggestion.

There are 2 options:

-maintain the right validity date
-Delete the user.

In this case you can lock the user id with validity date. during the license auditing it will not counted.

Hi Chiwo,

 

Just a question about the EHP SPS location. In your above post you have mentioned media DVD as "SAP:::MM::BD51048902_6".

 

So have you downloaded the SP stack as per MOPZ or MP or you are trying to use Upgrade Export DVDs (51048902*)?

Yes, I downloaded the SPS according to MOPZ / MP. It's my mistake to put the upgrade export DVD right there.

No, you can only add plain text.

Of course, you can put the URL address, but the user would need to copy from the screen and paste into the web browser.

Hi SJ.

 

 

We are adding this application server to our upgraded QA in the parallel landscape. I wanted to know since we split ABAP and JAVA instance and did release upgrade for ABAP stack, do I have to do anything additional for DI before I use the new version using SWPM? Looks like I can add an additional instance on this app or should I uninstall the lower version first and then install the new version?

Yes, You have to either uninstall the Old App server or Reinstall the OS and install the new upgraded ABAP Application server on QA system, using the new version of SWPM.
