Re: SOST - Mails not delivering from Specific User/Mail ID
Dear Ashutosh,
I don't think there is a problem at outlook side since this issue is happening to all recipients and only for this particular scenario.
Checked the SMTP log but could not find any thing suspicious.
Thanks,
Phani.
Re: SOST - Mails not delivering from Specific User/Mail ID
Hello Manish,
Yes, the status code is 73 in SOST. Also we tried re-processing the mails from SOST and status code is 73. No error occured.
Thanks,
Phani.
Re: SOST - Mails not delivering from Specific User/Mail ID
Hello JP,
Its not SAP office inbox, it is the user Outlook mail.
I mean, the mail is sending out from SOST and status shows green (message 73), No error message is shown in SOST queue.
Problem description is here:
1. User ABC with mail id ABC@SAP.COM --> mail going out from SAP but not deliver to User outlook mail
2. User ABC with mail id XYZ@SAP.COM --> mail going out from SAP and deliver to User outlook mail
3. User XYZ with mail id ABC@SAP.COM --> mail going out from SAP and deliver to User outlook mail
Thanks,
Phani.
Re: SOST - Mails not delivering from Specific User/Mail ID
Hi Phani,
Status code 73 shows that your SAP configuration is correct.
Please ask your exchange team to trace when ABC user is sending mail using ABC@SAP.COM mail id because with 73 code mail is out of SAP system and it is getting lost in between SAP system and the target recipient of that mail.
Thanks,
Manish
Re: Upgrading dialog instance
Download and read the installation guide. It answers all your questions.
You need to download the correct SWPM to get the EHP6 installation option.
You don't need to uninstall anything. If your requirement is to add an additional application server to the existing instance then you just need to run the sapinst on the target node and install it.
The prerequisites are mentioned in the installation guide.
The /sapmnt/SID filesystem from the PAS server should be mounted on the installation node.
You will also need to download the Oracle client media and provide that during the installation.
Re: Trusted RFC showing " Inconsistency : Relationship data does not on server and RDS implementation Errors.
Hello,
Have you tried to delete and recreate the trusted/trusting setup?
Try to perform the setup as shown at this video.
If it still does not work, which is the support package level of the SAP_BASIS components of the involved systems?

Isaías
Re: Upgrading dialog instance
Hi,
During uninstallation of existing SAP instance in AAS, SWPM will remove everything related to SAP from the AAS. Regarding Oracle client, it will be done during installation.

Re: SOST - Mails not delivering from Specific User/Mail ID
Hello Manish,
Sure, will check this with exchange team.
One more update, actually the user ABC is system user. It was changed to service user, logged into SAP system and sent test mails and it was working fine.
Thanks,
Phani.
Regarding HR Support Packs
Hi Basis Expert,
We have installed EHP 7 for SAP ERP 6.0 system. Now we have the requirement for installing the SAP HR Support Packs.
After the installation we have SAP_HR & Sub Component with Release 608 & Level 22 and EA-HR & Sub Component with Release 608 & Level 22.
I just wanted to know whether we need to apply SAP_HR & EA-HR component when applying the HR Support Packs. Needed clarification.
Also I tried find the HR Support Packs in SAP Service Market Place but I am unable to find. Please let me know the location from where I can find the HR Support Packs for our version.
Appreciate your inputs.
Regards,
Anil
Re: sapwebdispatcher issue

Re: Upgrading dialog instance
We are not installing additional instance. We want to use this one as upgraded one. I checked the installation guide for SWPM SP17 but it doesn't mention anything about upgrading. I had one last question. We have split our ABAP and JAVA instance. Do I need to do anything on DI before upgrading or installing the new version?
Re: what is the need of transaction code su01
SAP users can be created using transaction code SU01. While creatingSAP users there are only 2 mandatory fields User name on the Addresstab and Initial Password field on the Logon Data tab page. All otherentries on this screen are optional. But if proper roles are not assignedto the user, then the user won’t be having authorization to open anytransaction code. Users and authorization data are client-dependent.Main tasks that can be performed using transaction code SU01 are
1)Creating a User
2)Copy an Existing user to a new user
3)Modifying a User
4)Deleting a User
5)Lock/Unlock a User
6)Modifying a User’s Password
7)Add a Role to a User
There are five types of users in sap
Dialog users (Type A)These type of users are used for Individual and interactive system access.Dialog users can log into the system using interface called SAPGUI(Newer versions of GUI can be downloaded from SAP Marketplace).During first logon, the user has to change the initial password. Also multiple logons are possible with SAPGUI (default value is 6).Multiple logons can be restricted using the parameter login/disable_multile_gui_login.
System Users (Type B)System users are used for Background processing and communicationwithin a system (such as RFC users for ALE, Workflow, TMS, and CUA).Dialog logon is not possible for these type of users.
Communication Users (C)Dialog-free communication for external RFC calls.Service Users (S)Dialog user available to a larger, anonymous group of users. The system does not check for expired/initial passwords during logon.Only the user administrator can change the passwords.
Reference Users (L)General, non-person related users that allows the assignment ofadditional identical authorizations, such as for Internet userscreated with transaction SU01. No logon is possible.
Re: Upgrading dialog instance
Hello SJ,
Please read the upgrade guide.
It will inform you that the correct procedure would be to perform the upgrade at the Central Instance / Primary Application Server, and that all DIs / AASs have to be uninstalled and re-installed.
When re-installing the DIs, use the same kernel that was used to upgrade the CI.
Best regards,
Isaías

This is not correct. The application servers are uninstalled and reinstalled only in case of Java stack and in certain cases like release upgrades. There is no need to uninstall and reinstall the application servers for ABAP stacks during an upgrade. There is an option called "Update Dialog Instances" available in the SUM tool which should be selected so the tool will make necessary modifications to the profiles of the application servers. If this is not selected then you will need to manually make the changes.
>>We have upgraded QA and Dev in the parallel environment. We need an additional application server for parallel QA so user can do their testing. Our support landscape has 2 addional application servers in QA. We are taking one from existing and adding to parallel QA.<<
The reason why I provided the steps to install an application server is because of the above statement from you. If you have not selected the option "Update Dialog Instances" during the preparation phase then you will need to check and update the profiles manually. Based on what you have said, you updated the system from ERP 6.0 to EHP6. As part of the update I believe the start profiles get merged with the instance profiles. So first check if the profiles were merged for the primary application server and if yes then you need to do that manually for the application server instance. Once done check if the AS is working fine.
1528297 - Merge start profile with instance profile
1898687 - Merge start profile with instance profile (Linux/Unix OS)
Re: Upgrading dialog instance
Hi,
What I understood is, the requirement of SJ, is to add one addition application server to existing QA in distributed environment and the AAS he wants to add is not at the same release level of PAS (which is already upgraded), if i m not wrong. Also i understood that the DI which he wants to add was not part of PAS during upgrade of QA. Thats why I suggested him to uninstall the lower version of SAP in DI and install with SWPM and add it to PAS as there is no upgrade option in SWPM for DI alone. Ofcourse, during the installation, merged profile will be created by SWPM automatically and there is no need to merge them manually. S J Please correct me if I am wrong to understand your requirement.
Thanks and best regards,
Ganesan

Re: The Installation/Upgrade Package for Add-on "WEBCUIF" rel. "700" is not available
Hi Chiwo,
Attach the stack.xml file also. Make sure that all the WEBCUIF packages mentioned in stack.xml file exist in download directory or in ../EPS/in/
