http://Solution Manager Host:8000, in connection setting SYSTEM ID- Solution Manager, Client- Solution Manager...

Hello,
Can some one please share the information on the Business All in One ? I have read in other forums to implement BAiO we have to installa ECC 6.0 with EHP X version and install BP Addon on to of that. Please confirm if this is correct. If Yes, then following are some of the questions that i am looking for your help in getting the answers.
1. What is the difference between ECC and BAiO if BAiO is also same as ECC but with an addition of BP addon.
2. If BAiO is based on SAP ECC if so then what about the SAP CRM scenarios like Lead generation etc. Can ECC handle CRM functionalities for business all in one solution .

Re: Trigger background job after an event - After receiving a file
Once file1.txt, receives to Server-B , needs to execute a background job.
This file (file1.txt) can come either in 1hr/2hr/30min/10seconds or anytime. Each time Server-B receives this file, it needs to execute a background job with t-code ZS01 , with that file data as variant.
Is it possible to do some thing like this, in sm36 job scheduling or with using OS commands.
As there is no specific time when the file will be transferred, I believe this can be achieved (possibly) with the help of a shell script which checks the existence of file1.txt in the /usr/sap/trans/mydata file system or directory and then trigger a background job and once the job finishes successfully move/rename/delete the file1.txt.
The other option I can think of is by using external or third party schedulers like IBM TWS, CA Autosys or SAP CPS Redwood. Not sure whether they have such capabilities but you can check here for CPS.

But in the UI the rules are empty and also the field "Name of rule File": is empty.
Where do I have to define the rule file?
Further I also want to make a URL-File, only to permit defined URLs.
Where can I maintain this?

Particular Z* report hangs CI when runs there but not APP servers when run on them
Hello,
Before posting this question, I would like request all that please don't advise to contact functional team as I know below issue is functional and it was resolved by applying some snote. However, from Basis perspective I found below situation very strange and hence looking your suggestion from basis front only. Thanks in advance!!
Whenever the report “Z runs on application servers the job runs for 10 seconds and terminates with a memory dump and the application this was executed on does not seem to have any performance impact. But when the same report is executed on CI it generates the same memory dump but the report runs for over 1000 seconds, hangs the CI from both SAP level and OS level, hangs all our putty session and SAP sessions and paging disks reach 100% utilization. Need you help to understand why report behaves this way only on the CI and causes it to almost crash but on the application server.
It throws SYSTEM_NO_ROLL dump in every execution.
Also, found difference in terms of the few memory parameters set in CI and application server.

I would consider reading the SYSTEM_NO_ROLL dump that occurred on the CI and on the AS and see what the difference is (expcept the host name and the WP no)
If possible I would set the value of the parameter ztta/roll_extension to 4000000000 (same like on CI) on AS and restart the AS and observe whether there is a difference in the execution.
Unfortunately it is difficult to suggest why there is a change in the execution behavior based on these parameters.
