Current Log file size : 85 MB , which I guess is less.
You can try increasing it to 150MB - 200MB.
Log file size (4KB) (LOGFILSIZ) = 51200
Before increasing this you should check that there should be sufficient space in log directory.
150*200 ~ 30GB.
What is your database size ?

In QAS BI system - go to transaction RSA1 check the Source system its point to PROD or QAS? I thing connection pointing to Production system. Just reset the connection to QAS Source system and do the replication to all objects

Check whether the System Upgrade and System Copy part of the SAP note 917950 - SAP NetWeaver 2004s: Setting Up BEx Web is valid and if yes then setup the BEX as suggested.

We are just migrating OS from HP UX to Linux .But we are not touching database.In ABAP System there is no instance ID.So after migration all the application need not to be reinstalled.But in java there is unique instance id registered with java CI .So we need to again install application .Otherwise application server don't get synchronized .Is there any other way so that after migration also all applications are synchronized.We need not to manually reinstall .

We have a central SLD on our ECC Dev system.
Our landscape has ECC 6.0, NetWeaver 7.
The SLDDSUSER keeps on getting locked frequently on portal dev system.
The user keep getting locked in the portal and not able to make connection to the ECC to display the data, but once unlocked then it is ok again, and also this happens at the most 24hrs once
What can I do to pinpoint where is this problem occuring?

many thanks. No, I do not see, which profile the gateway use, but since according to the trace gateway is searching for reginfo file in /usr/sap/P11/ASCS75/data directory, the gateway is really configured to run in ASCS. Probably this is a setup as described in the note 1010990?

You have only 2 possibilities to increase the trace level of the gateway - either by setting of parameter rdisp/TRACE=2 in the profile, which gateway is using. If your setup is as per note above, this should be the ASCS instance profile and this parameter will increase trace level also for all other processes of the ASCS instance and a restart is required. Or you can send "kill -USR2 <pid>" on OS level at runtime only to the gateway process.
Since you have mentioned you need to trace everything incoming in message server gateway trace will not be helpful here, because gateway does not communicate with the message server.

That should not be a problem provided your abaper can write a custom code on solman and read data from remote MSSQL table. Then you may have to transfer the content from SOLMAN to your HP-UX system using RFCs and scripts.
