In the note it states:
Please note that Epson does not develop any device types for dot matrix or line printers within SAP's Printer Vendor Program
The most common and most compatible device type is HP-LJ5 Laserjet 5

If no native device type is available for your printer, you can use one of the generic device types SAPWIN or SWINCF, and connect the printer with access method G or S. Required for this option is a Windows frontend (G) or an Windows print server (S) and a Windows printer driver.
