This SAP BW system is a SAP NW 7.31 EHP1 (ABAP) in a Windows server on MS SQL Server database.
I´m with some doubts regarding the process of Unicode Conversion. The main goal here is to perform two tasks in just one row only, combined! These two tasks are a migration (heterogeneous system copy) using the SWPM tools and the method export db / import db and also the other task, the Unicode conversion (because this SAP system is a Non-Unicode (NUC)).
I searched for information about this subject and I found some links, but I still have some doubts regarding all process, this is, about the combination of these two tasks! I already done a lot of SAP migrations (using the export/import method) but I never had to do a Unicode conversion in the same migration database activity.
I found the following link, and it have some information about this process:
I´m also reading the SAP System Copy Guide for the SAP NW 7.1 to 7.4 and in this guide I don´t find specific information about it! It´s true that it mention this...
If you want to perform a Unicode Conversion, see one of the following SAP Notes:

... but I don´t see in that SAP notes any relevant information of what I have to do in this case! I only see this relevant information during this guide, in chapter "4.2 Generating DDL Statements" (SMIGR_CREATE_DDL report):
4. You are able to select Unicode Migration if you also wish to perform a Unicode system copy (from Unicode to Unicode) or a Unicode conversion (from non-Unicode to Unicode).
Therefore... I believe the only thing that I must do, for the unicode conversion, before the database exportation, is only select the Unicode Migration check box in SMIGR_CREATE_DDL report, am I correct?
For me it´s a little bit strange that the only thing I must do before the database exportation it´s only that!
Another question... how can I know if my SAP system is a MDMP system?
