Hi Jack,
Symptom
SLDDSUSER and SLDAPIUSER account locked.
Environment
SAP Solution Manager 7.0 or Higher.
Reproducing the Issue
- When you execute the configuration again for an existing system used as central SLD.
- If you change the password for SLDUSER.
- With the automatic SLD configuration the passwords of the SLDDSUSER / SLDAPIUSER have been overwritten with the new passwords.
- As a result various incoming connection (e.g. from satellite systems) lock the slddsuser/sldapiuser, because the satellite systems are still using the old password.
Cause
Changing the password for the SLDUSER.
- Option 1: You know the old slddsuser/sldapiuser passwords, simply re-execute the SLD configuration and overwrite the new passwords with
the old passwords. - Option 2: You don't know the old slddsuser/sldapiuser passwords and have set new passwords. In this case you have to change all the incoming connections to the new passwords.
- Please change/check the following connections below (on the Solution Manager and the connected systems) for the new passwords.
ABAP: SLDAPICUST (ABAP system, transaction SLDAPICUST)
J2EE: SLD DATA SUPPLIER (VisualAdmin, Service SLD Data Supplier)
J2EE: JCo RFC Provider (VisualAdmin, Service Jco RFC Provider)
DIAGNOSTIC AGENT (Script smdsetup with argument)
Regards,
SURYA.
