1. EHP4 upgrade of ECC system that will also bring base NW to 701.

                   Yes,  ECC EHP4 with NW 7.01 EHP1

  2. Ignore ECC components and upgrade only NW components (ABA, BASIS, BW) to 701 using SAINT.

       You can use  the SUM Tool. what is the present system Support package level? and also you can check the SUM tool central Note or SUM Guide

3. NW EHP1 upgrade (if possible for a ECC system - I guess not).

When you are upgrading the ECC component NW also will upgrade to EHP1
