You will need access to the filesystem of the J2EE server. Or did I misunderstand and you only have an ABAP instance?

Hi Sriram, Both these systems are ehp 4 but operating systems are different i mean source system is unix and target system is windows. But the levels are different. So which option should i opt for client copy. Please see the attachment as well. Thanks, Sam
Hi Sam
1. For Client copy in both system Support pack level should be same. as already mention in the SAP link .
Copying Clients Between Systems (SAP Library - BC ? Client Copy and Transport (BC-CTS-CCO))
2. If the SPS level are different, you have to perform system copy (Heterogeneous system copy method) since the OS are different and then remove the unwanted clients.

Sriram

System already restarted but without success.
Firewall & UAC both are disabled.
Here the problem is after giving Master Password SAPInst not asking for other domain users passwords.
And when registering the service it is using the Master Password reather then actual User password and I belive that is why it is failing.
SO, can you please tell me how I can maintain the SAPServiceSTX user password when
executing below steps.

Hi,
Couple of thing..
1st. Check you ABAP time zone STZAC and java time zone in configtool and if required correct it.
2nd. Seems your JAVA systems GC algo is not working - Again check config tool. Check heap dump generated in server0 directory. Also, provide us your system configuration and memory parameter set in configtool.
Also, Please upload std_server0 and dispatcher.out files

Hallo.
We have a three systems landscape ECC 7.00 kernel 7.00
DEV->TST->PRD
Can we upgrade SVI to kernel 7.21_EXT and stay with kernel 7.00 on TES and PRO without problems about transport of object from development to the other systems ?
Thanks a lot.
Mario
Yes, that is no problem at all. As with all changes it is common and recommended practice to update development first, then test and production quite a while later.
